On March 14, Wuxi took an important step in the field of new energy - the 8MW/14.47MWh industrial and commercial energy storage project of Yingpu Machinery (Yixing) Co., Ltd. was officially completed and put into operation. This marks the birth of the largest user-side energy storage power station with a single grid-connected capacity in the region. The project is invested and operated by Three Gorges Electric Power, a subsidiary of China Yangtze Power Group. Sermatec Energy provides the project with a one-stop energy storage solution, energy digitalization operation and strong technical support.

Impro Group is an integrated manufacturer of high-precision, high-complexity, and performance-critical components, serving global leaders in diverse end-use industries such as passenger cars, commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery, hydraulic equipment, high-horsepower engines, construction machinery, aviation, medical, energy, recreational ships and vehicles. Since Impro Group's production involves multiple high-energy consumption links, such as casting, machining, welding, etc., its electricity demand is relatively large.

This project not only helps Eagle Machinery achieve stable electricity consumption and efficient energy use, but also reduces electricity costs and balances electricity utilization efficiency by utilizing strategies such as peak-valley electricity price differences. It is estimated that the energy storage power station can provide Eagle Machinery with 30,000 kWh of backup power every day, which can support production for 6 hours at a peak power of 5,000 kW during the day, ensuring that the company's production activities are not affected by power restrictions during the peak summer period.

At the project completion ceremony, Impro Group Chairman and CEO Lu Ruibo, Group Vice President Wang Haozhan and other leaders witnessed the commissioning of this energy storage power station together with senior executives of Cummins Group.

Sermatec Energy has contributed core strength to the efficient operation of the project with its advanced energy storage technology, comprehensive solutions, and efficient energy digital operations.

The project introduced two Xinghan liquid-cooled container energy storage systems provided by Sermatec Energy. The system has won continuous and widespread praise in the industry for its remarkable features such as high efficiency, high safety and flexibility. Its high-efficiency liquid cooling and intelligent temperature control technology ensure that the equipment can operate stably in various environments, and its modular design facilitates rapid installation, maintenance, and capacity expansion.

Sermatec Energy also provides a comprehensive energy optimization solution, which develops a reasonable power strategy to maximize economic benefits by real-time monitoring of electricity prices, analyzing load curves, and predicting supply and demand trends. According to preliminary estimates, the project is expected to generate a cumulative economic benefit of about 15 million yuan in the next 20 years by making clever use of the difference in peak and valley electricity prices in Jiangsu Province.

Under the strategic guidance of the dual carbon goals, the successful commissioning of the Impro Mechanical Energy Storage Project has not only brought considerable economic benefits to the company, but more importantly, it has provided an exemplary and replicable energy solution for the entire industrial field. The successful practice of this project not only proves the feasibility and effectiveness of energy storage technology in industrial applications, but also provides valuable experience and reference for other companies, helping to promote the entire industry towards green development and low-carbon transformation.
