On the cradle of Western civilization, a new chapter of energy transformation is quietly unfolding.
Recently, Sermatec successfully completed the commissioning of its commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage project in Greece. EASYCUBE Series 261 kWh EU-standard energy storage systems have been deployed at two locations—Kiato on the Gulf of Corinth and Aspropyrgos in the Attica region—supplying stable and clean green power to the local grid. This milestone marks another solid step forward for Sermatec in the European C&I energy storage market.

The two sites differ significantly in geographic conditions and load characteristics, highlighting the flexibility and localized support that define typical C&I energy storage applications. At the Kiato site, two systems help optimize regional grid power quality and enhance renewable energy integration. At the Aspropyrgos site, four systems operate in a clustered configuration, providing highly reliable power supply and demand management for an industrial zone, effectively easing grid pressure and reducing electricity costs.
The EASYCUBE Series is Sermatec's flagship energy storage solution, specifically engineered to meet Europe's stringent standards and diverse environmental conditions. With a high protection rating, it is well adapted to the challenges of the Mediterranean climate. The system integrates high-safety, long-lifecycle LFP batteries with an advanced energy management system, enabling seamless on-grid and off-grid switching within 20 milliseconds. It supports a wide range of applications, including peak shaving, PV-plus-storage integration, backup power, and microgrids.

The project equipment was shipped on October 27, 2025, arrived at port on December 24, and—through close collaboration between Sermatec's after-sales team and local partners—successfully completed installation, commissioning, and system validation. Full commercial operation was achieved on January 26. This efficient and well-coordinated process reflects Sermatec's strong project management capabilities and the professional execution of its international teams.

From manufacturing centers in East Asia to project sites in Southern Europe, this cross-continental journey stands as a vivid example of the efficiency and reliability of intelligent manufacturing from China.
With professional and reliable energy storage solutions, Sermatec supports Greece's national energy transition and grid modernization efforts, contributing to the development of a more resilient, flexible, and sustainable energy system.
